A most wonderful place!
The four of us had an amazing stay at John ans Eleni’s lovely home. The rooms were comfortable and very very clwan. Breakfast was great. Most of all the, the hosts provided kindness as well as their home. We received much helpful info regarding where to visit and eat. Could not recommend their home more!!
John and Eleni made us feel welcomed and comfortable in their water front home. Comfortable suite overlooking bay and delicious home cooked breakfast each morning. John was also very helpful in helping us plan daily outings with directions included. We left feeling like we were part of their family. We hope to return in the future.

Acadia National Park Vacation
We take a yearly sibling trip and were so fortunate to book this property. John and Eleni were the best hosts who treated us as family. They have a beautiful home with gorgeous views of their cove. We were provided with warm rooms, comfortable beds, very clean accommodations, awesome breakfasts, quiet nights and breathtaking spacious property. We enjoyed evening chats of very interesting stories as we got to know each other and given awesome advice on what to do in the area. We met as strangers and left feeling like family. If I get back to Maine I will definitely book this property again. Thank you John and Eleni for a great place to stay while vacationing. All the best to you!
Yannis Cove is delightful
Staying with Yanni and Eleni was like staying with family. We loved listening to their stories - the breakfasts were hearty and very much appreciated for our genealogical adventures.
A home away from home
Yannis Cove is a delightful place, situated on several acres overlooking a quiet, salt-water cove, within convenient proximity to all the best that "down east" coastal Maine has to offer. Hosts John and Eleni are really good folk -- warm, welcoming, and highly entertaining. Bonus: John serves up fabulous coffee and a hot, dellicious breakfast every day!
Bar Harbor and its environs on Mt Desert Island can be a bit crowded with visitors, but our hosts were so helpful with imformation on wonderful, places to explore away from it all, so to speak. Between times we felt very much at home with John and Eleni -- riich conversation, sharing, and laughter. We mark our time at Yannis Cove as a top notch vacation experience.
This beautiful ocean front property is nestled on 15 acres of unspoiled beauty. Enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the dock or on a kayak. Kayaks are available for your enjoyment to explore the beautiful sea scape. Kayaking, hiking, biking, clamming, bird watching, or relaxing on the deck or sun room are among the favorite pass times.
