About this property

Eagles Nest Village On Pristine Pine Creek. Unique property with 3 cabins!

Eagles Nest Village consists of 3 different homes that are located on the same property. The main home (Eagles Nest) is a spacious 3-bedroom home that can accommodate up to 9 people. A two-bedroom home (Coyote Cabin) is located behind the main home and has beds for 5. The third property is an efficiency cottage (Chickadee Cottage) that contains a queen bed, a hide-a-bed, small kitchen and small bathroom. This rental is for all three properties. It is a great location for a family reunion, or a multi-family get together.

Families and friends can enjoy time together on the over-sized deck at Eagles Nest yet have time alone in their own cabin. You won't find many properties like this!

The property has nice creek frontage on pristine Pine Creek.

Eagles Nest contains a full kitchen, dining room with seating for 12, spacious living room and a nice bar area. The 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms with window air conditioners. The master bedroom contains a queen-sized bed. The 2nd bedroom also contains a queen-sized bed and a twin bed. The 3rd bedroom contains a full-sized bed. Each floor has a full bathroom. The upstairs bathroom contains a shower as well as a washer and dryer. The first-floor bathroom contains a bathtub. Eagles Nest has an oversized deck that is great for enjoying outdoor meals or relaxing with friends and family.

Coyote Cabin has a nice size living room, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with a shower and washer and dryer and a deck overlooking Pine Creek. There is a window air conditioner in the living room and ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms. There are steps behind the main property that lead to this home.

Chickadee Cottage is located a bit further out back. This is an efficiency cottage that can sleep up to 4 but is more comfortable with 2. There is a queen-sized bed and a pull-out couch. There is parking available near all of the homes, so it is easy to load and unload your belongings.

The rental season runs from May - December.

Fishing season opens in April! The creek is stocked with trout and there are several great fishing holes in the immediate area.

Pine Creek is great for rafting, canoeing and kayaking in the spring and occasionally during the summer months. The creek level raises and lowers quickly so be sure to check the water level when planning your outdoor activities. Pine Creek Outfitters has a great website that links to river level readings. You can find information on the local area at pinecrk.com

The cabin is close to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon which has great hiking trails and picturesque views. Cherry Springs State Park is approximately 30 minutes away and has been named as a "dark sky" area. There are great stargazing opportunities there.

Summer months are great for floating in an inner tube on the creek, relaxing on the deck, sitting around a campfire, pitching horseshoes and much more!

Merry go round of bikes
The location was perfect for our family of 13; 3 generations together for 5 days. We spent the majority of our time at the property on the deck of the main house which was huge and our 5 grandkids constantly rode their bikes around the deck for hours of fun! We saw eagles fly by and even land in a nearby tree. We rafted and kayaked on the creek, cast our fishing lines in the water and enjoyed making memories at Eagles Nest. Nearby we hiked and biked taking in the beautiful views of the canyon. Shelley was very accomodating to us and a gracious host.

Creekside delight!
Our family gathering was made even more special with the warm welcome of our hosts and the wonderfully stocked property. The amenities available were as listed and the gathering spaces allowed our group to be together inside and out!

Wow!
I don't know where to start - we had a phenomenol family vacation at Eagles' Nest! The three separate cabins matched our family perfectly (Grandma, 3 grown children with spouses and 5 grandchildren) and the pictures do not do it justice. The rooms are much larger than they appear in the photos! Everything we could have needed was provided and the creek access was perfect for my 5 grandsons. Lots of memories made and Shelley is the perfect hostess. Wish I could have rated it a 10!

Incredible house for a larger group!
This property is absolutely perfect for our annual adult family/friend group. We rented all three houses and it did not disappoint! The first thing we all commented on was the cleanliness of the property! The deck was big enough for cornhole and can jam, wow. There was plenty of seating for everyone everywhere. We felt right at home while staying here. One thing to note is there isn’t any service for awhile in the surrounding area so if you are going anywhere like the Grand Canyon or grocery store plug the destination into your phone while on Wi-Fi at the house. 10/10 would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We purchased this property in early 2015. We have enjoyed spending time on Pine Creek while working on the properties!

What makes this property unique

This rental can easily accommodate a large group. It's a great place for a family reunion, large get togethers, etc. There is a large yard area for outdoor activities. We have horseshoe pits and corn hole boards for use.

The property is located on a dead end road. The creek frontage is across the road from the house. There is not much traffic on the road. Most of the properties are used for weekend getaways.
