Property maintenance essential
Last weeend we had the pleasure of renting and staying in Templetonia holiday house at Coffin Bay.
The weather was perfect, the holiday house was unusual and we delighted in the quirkiness of the home. Being surrounded by scrub, kangaroos and emus shows Coffin Bay at its best.
The 2 couples that rented with us have asked that I let you know about a few of the issues with the house.
Maintenance of a property like this is difficult but when it is being rented we feel that basic maintenance should be done.
Below is a list of things that concerned us.
1. The shower dripping... sleeping on the other side of the wall was almost impossible.
2. Lighting in the front bedroom was inadequate.
3.Upstairs seating..only seating for 5 adults. We did carry another chair upstairs to make 6. 2 of these chairs are most definitely past their use by date. The floor was more comfortable.
4. Kitchen chairs. One is very unstable and wobbly and another has the screws at the back falling out.
We are hoping that these simple maintenance tasks can be done before the home is rented again. This will assist in ensuring that the next client will be able to enjoy Templetonia to its maximum.
Thanks for sharing your delightful property. Cheers Chris
