About Margaret Broadway
Margaret has been welcoming International visitors for almost a decade – a very pleasurable and memorable experience for all. In 2017, she formally opened the doors as a B&B to share this picturesque and peaceful retreat with a wider audience. Margaret loves to create, handmake, reuse, recycle and reinvent, and her property is a testament to this. She adores hosting and sharing the extraordinary beauty, bountiful wildlife, diverse nature, peaceful sounds and natural elements that are all part of Inspiring Views’ inimitable environment. Food for the soul..

What makes this Bed And Breakfast unique
Lovingly built by the owner, and your host - Margaret - this erstwhile happy family home has now been converted into Wodonga's most unique Bed and Breakfast. From the polished Murray pine floors to the vaulted ceilings and open trusses, gothic church doors and windows, fireplaces and antique knick-knacks, Inspiring Views is adorned with the charm of Australian antiques and oddities, hand collected by Margaret over many years. Perched happily alone high on a hill, this stunning property offers 360 degree views of mountains, rolling hills and valleys. Enjoy uninterrupted panoramic sunsets and sunrises, misty vistas, and the twinkling night lights of Albury/Wodonga below. The rambling gardens of the two-acre home paddock host a busy chook house, delightful tree swings, a pond, wildlife galore, over 100 hand-crafted sculptures and a collection of quirky outbuildings to explore. The homestead itself offers relaxing luxury and quiet privacy just 10 minutes from city conveniences and cafes, restaurants and nightlife. Those seeking creative inspiration will enjoy a multitude of gorgeous places to sit, relax, paint, create, or meditate to the sound of rustling leaves, the hum of bees, the whispering breeze and the still serenity. Enjoy the natural beauty of the garden: perhaps partaking in some food and drink as you take in the views, the bird song, and quiet spaces. But how to choose the best spot? A giant natural granite rock table surrounded by wooden benches may attract your interest, or bench swings, hand-crafted iron and wood-sculptured benches, or a sunken semi-circular stone walled entertainment area with table, fire pit and bench seating, to name a few. In cooler weather, snuggle into the comfy benches and dining settings under the verandas. Rustic warmth and hospitality of a time gone by awaits you, along with big comfy bedrooms and soft inviting pillows.

A delightfully quirky room in a spectacular location. The garden is littered with clever sculptures made by the owner from recycled metals.

On top of the world!!!
Margaret was the epitome of a warm and welcoming hostess. She made us feel very welcome in her home and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. She offered us total privacy or the chance to enjoy her hospitality and friendship. Our suite was beautiful, the bed was large and very comfortable and the continental breakfast was amazing. Margaret's property is one in a million. It is close to town, has the most amazing views, the quirkiest sculptures, a stunning home and offers total serenity. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time there and will certainly be returning.
Thank you Donna and Chris for your fabulous review. Not only were you perfect guests but a lot of fun as I really enjoyed our conversations together in front of the open fire and spending time enjoying the sunrise which put on quite a show for us. Look forward to hosting you again.
