Stayed here during fashion week. The metro is close, and everything else is walkable. Louvre, the gardens, Orsay, we even walked back here from Montmarte and Moulin Rouge. The kitchen had everything we needed to get by for the week. The bed was comfortable as well.
A week in Paris
This apartment is lovely and so well located very close to Metro.
The kitchen has everything one would need, spacious bathroom, and most comfortable (if small) bed. I would want to stay here when I return!
hope to return
A beautiful little apartment in an excellent locale. Sebastien explained everything in detail and all went smoothly. The kitchen is very well equipped if you are in a cooking mode. We chose appies and drinks on the balcony. Heaven! Within walking distance of many of the venues and more interesting than the metro. Merci, Sebastien
Great stay in Paris!
The apartment is extremely well located, you can go by foot to all main tourist attractions in Paris, extremely clean, and was very comfortable for our family of three (two adults and 11 year old). Another great advantage is Sebastien and how accessible and helpful he was. We enjoyed our stay a lot! I will definitely contact Sebastien for future arrangements and recommend this place to anyone!
Great apartment in excellent location
We were very comfortable in this charming apartment for 5 nights. Beautiful building, well situated, with washer/dryer, metro nearby, Monoprix across the street, great food shops such as Fauchon and Maille in the neighborhood. The apartment manager went over all the ins and outs with us, offered helpful suggestions, made us feel welcome. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Merci, merci!
Great Paris Apartment/Perfect Location
Literally, you cannot find a better location. Five minutes out the door one way to Madeleine Metro stop (major line) and two minutes the other way to Starbucks, a patisserie, & a good restaurant (Cafe Olympia.) Across the street is the Monop grocery store and another great restaurant.
The building is extremely secure with a guard in the vestibule lobby, not that this is a neighborhood to worry about. Key fobs are used to enter the building as well as the lobby with the elevators (a nice feature at the end of a long day.) The apartment is roomy enough for two, and the French door is a nice extra to let in fresh air and light. Kitchen had everything you might need. The bedroom has a closet with shelves as well as additional shelves in the room. Because of space, the bed is a bit tight in that it is against the wall on one side, but it was comfortable.
The bathroom was a very welcome surprise after staying in a VRBO in another European city. The shower was wonderful - easy to use, good pressure, and consistent temperature. The owners put some money into the bathroom with double sinks and space on both sides for toiletries. Another great feature is electrical plugs in the bathroom so you can use both your hair dryer and a hair curler - like in the States. In fact, there were electrical plugs in multiple places in every room. There is a washer/dryer in the bathroom as well. It took us a few times to figure out how to just wash first and then dry, rather than the dual cycle.
The TV is basic, but we could get BBC International and Sky News, not that you'll be watching much. Although we didn't need it in late April, there is an air conditioner, which will be necessary in the summer. But there was also a fan in each room.
Another great advantage is Sebastien and how accessible he made himself to us. We could contact him both by direct email and his direct phone number. That was very helpful when the WiFi cut out. He had me reboot the system but offered to come over to remedy the situation - which turned out to be unnecessary. When we arrived, he went over everything with us so we understood the ins and outs of the apartment.
I would definitely stay here again when we return to Paris.
