Thanks for looking at our guest suite. Our century old home is located in beautiful uptown New Orleans very near Tulane and Loyola Universities.
We are 2 houses away from the historic streetcar line that runs to the French Quarter and back. The space is composed of a huge living area, rustically decorated with family memorabilia, animal mounts, a pool table, bar, sleeper queen sofa and big screen cable TV.
The sitting room, queen bedroom and bath are newly renovated. Mardi Gras memorabilia surrounds you in this historic art studio.
We look forward to having you visit our home. Please no pets allowed and absolutely no smoking allowed. Maximum of 4 guests allowed in the space at all times unless discussed previously.

The apartment was a great place to relax and in a great location in New Orleans. Easy access to the trolley car to take you to the riverfront and French quarter.
My husband and I were thrilled to stay at this lovely suite in uptown Nola. Great history behind the studio, super comfortable bed, and so quiet (which we needed after festing all day!). Staci was a wonderful and attentive host. We highly recommend staying at this property!
We really enjoyed our stay. The artist's studio was spacious and fun and had an interesting history. The bedroom and bathroom are pretty and immaculate. You'll have everything you need. Staci is super-flexible, stayed in touch the whole time while giving us our privacy, and went out of her way to be helpful. There's a relaxing fountain right outside the door. We enjoyed walking around the pretty neighborhood looking at homes, flowers, and greenery, as well as strolling around nearby Audubon Park and Tulane University. Loyola is nearby too. They're both beautiful. The streetcar stop is a quick walk from the rental - we got around by walking and taking the streetcars. Bourbon Street was fun - the best part was all the amazing music we heard there, and all for a donation if you feel like it. If you like healthier food check out the restaurants around the universities. Highly recommend this rental!
The house was very quiet and spacious.. we felt really welcomed and was given absolute privacy. The neighborhood is amazing and filled with activities and the street car is the way to go! Very nice. I would definitely recommend Ms. Sundmaker to any of my friends. My home away from home.
We were very comfortable at this house. Staci was the most gracious host. We had everything we needed, and it was always nice to come 'home' after a day of being out and about.
This place really should be on the city tour. The main living space is comfortably chock-a-block full of Mardi Gras paraphernalia and old-timey men's club nuggets, including a billiards table and wall mounted hunter's trophies. The double story windows keep it bright and the industrial air conditioner keeps it cool. And while the main room is original and rustic, the bedroom, sitting area and bathroom are all recently done and beautifully clean. It's a private space at the back of the house and feels like a special place...which it is.
The house is close to both Uptown colleges as well as some college bars and restaurants and one of the best bakeries in town. Most importantly, though, is Staci's hospitality. She is welcoming, helpful and thought first of our comfort and enjoyment. Sure hope we can get a reservation next time we come.
