The owners' knowledge and love of fine art pieces is evident throughout the home, including the open country kitchen, well stocked with all the culinary tools discriminating guests could require. Comfortable bar seating sets the kitchen apart from the warm and inviting dining room, centered with a classic wooden dining table. As with every room in this home, the lighting is spectacular with an antique Eastlake crystal chandelier casting a soft glow over every meal in this central hub.
A unique and unexpected surprise is the large private outdoor dining oasis just outside the kitchen at the rear of the house. A wisteria covered arbor, tranquil fountain, large dining table and outdoor kitchen set the stage for year-round entertaining in this quiet retreat. Private parking is conveniently located just beyond the garden gate.
Each guest bedroom features comfortable mattresses and luxurious contemporary linens of the finest quality. The Master Bedroom, with vintage queen-size bed, has a large flat screen television smartly tucked in an antique cabinet. Floor to ceiling shelves house a book collection of favorite classics and contemporary best sellers.
The second downstairs front guest bedroom has a queen-size bed and flat screen television and faces the rose garden in the front yard. A hall bathroom is shared by the two downstairs bedrooms and includes a large walk-in shower with cleverly designed wrought iron door. A generous size Powder Room is also conveniently located nearby.
Upstairs, a loft style office with a large desk creates the perfect location for those on working vacations or for kids to stay on top of their homework. The Family Room is adjacent to the office and has a flat screen TV and comfortable leather furniture.
The upstairs 3rd bedroom has two twin beds and a comfy window seat—a cozy spot for children's bedtime stories or a quiet nook to get lost in a classic novel.
The upstairs fourth bedroom in this fantastic dream home is spacious and serene. Tall windows overlook not only the street scenes below but also magnificent mountain views, reminding guests just how special this Santa Barbara location is.

7-Night minimum for all bookings made before May 1st.
3-Night minimum for current year bookings made after May 1st.
Thanksgiving Week (Any dates which include Thanksgiving Day)
7-Night minimum for all bookings made before Oct 1st.
3-Night minimum for current year bookings made after Oct 1st.
Christmas Weeks (Dec 19 - 26 & Dec 26 - Jan 2)
7-Night minimum (in the fixed weeks above) for all bookings made before Nov 1st.
3-Night minimum (and flexible dates) for current year bookings made after Nov 1st.
Stays of less than 30 nights are subject to a 12% Lodging Tax + $2/night Tourism Tax.
$350 Cleaning Fee (14+ night stays require additional cleaning fees), Booking Fee (varies based on reservation cost).
$2,000 security deposit refundable within 14 days of checkout. Deposit is reduced to $500 with purchase of Damage Waiver.
30+ night stays require extra security deposit, and do not qualify for the damage waiver program.

Our stay at City Lights in Santa Barbara, CA
I was there with my 2 daughters and daughter-in-law. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay there. Our only complaint is that the weather was hot and humid and the last 2 nights we could not get cool to sleep comfortably. We would wake up sweating. The upstairs is 10+ degrees hotter than down stairs. The fans and ceiling fans were just not enough for the heat. Other than that we loved the house and its layout. It is a perfect location for the beach as well as shopping and restaurants.
