Nestled at the base of mountains on the west coast of Saint Lucia, Soufriere is a pretty little town that boasts hot weather throughout the year. Temperatures are fairly consistent, with not much variation between the seasons. The winter months are the coolest in Soufriere, with temperatures around 73 degrees at the lowest, and 84 degrees at the highest. Summer temperatures only jump up a bit, with the minimum around 77 degrees and the highest hovering consistently in the high 80s. The tropical climate of Soufriere has a rainy season that runs between July and December, with December the wettest.

Guarded by the towering, lush green Piton mountains, Soufriere is a jewel of a coastal town, surrounded on 3 sides by verdant rainforest. The town looks out onto the serene waters of Soufriere Bay and the Caribbean Sea. Soufriere sits on the west coast of the island of Saint Lucia, and is situated north of Barbados, Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago. Soufriere abounds with wildlife, from iguanas and agouti to more frightening creatures, such as the boa constrictor and poisonous fer-de-lance. It is home to one of the rarest, and most beautiful, lizards in the world, the St. Lucia Whiptail.
